Contribuisci feedbackI was craving tacos and wanted to try something new. Fountain Burrito did not disappoint! The tacos asada were packed full of chicken and cilantro. They come with verde and roja sauces, both of which had a good amount of spice. For $9.99, you get 3 big tacos with rice and beans so it's a lot of food for a good price. I tried the nachos with shredded chicken as well. The chicken is stewed with peppers and onions. It's flavorful but not spicy. Even though I ordered through DoorDash, the chips were still crispy when they arrived. I would order both dishes again but I'd love to try some other things in the menu as well.
Fast and friendly! Happy bellies after our bean burritos today and a slight bit favoring the amazing indoor painting.
Fountain Square has some great restaurants. Fountain Burrito is one of my new favorites. The place looks small but is much bigger inside. The bright interior features a large mural of Frida Kahlo supervising your dining activities. The menu is huge and filled with all your favorites. The serving sizes are beyond generous. The prices are modest and much less than you would expect. Make sure to get some version of the queso. It is fantastic and a great addition to the meal. Each of the entrees we tried, from the carnitas to the burritos were well made, tasty and filling. Hint: There is parking in the back.
Delicious food (chicken chimi), great margarita, awesome service! Will definitely be back!
I visited with some friends, which definitely elevated my experience. There's just something about sharing chips and salsa and drinks with great gals, you know? And oh my, those chips were great, and so was that salsa. The chips were warm and crispy. I just love warm tortilla chips! My bean, rice and cheese burrito was just OK, but I had to expect that because a BRC burrito is not actually on the menu it's something I asked them to make me. (I'm that person sometimes. So, what are you going to do? But I got a side of guacamole to eat with it, and that took the burrito up a notch. My mojito was limey and refreshing and appropriately strong. The outdoor seating here is great. They have picnic benches outside, with a pergola overhang thing over the top. This is a great restaurant to visit when it's nice outside and you're looking for a place to kick it and eat some good Mexican food outdoors. The service was also amazing. Our server was super friendly and helpful, and quick to do everything. She was zipping all over the place.
