Contribuisci feedbackIt was a lovely summer night, so we chose to sit on the porch. We loved our table and were really impressed with our server Stephanie. She got our orders exactly right and everything came out in a reasonable time. I had the filet sliders, the wedge salad, and the house made potato chips. My wife had the salmon and asparagus. We could not have been happier.
My husband and I live in another state but grew up in Indy. Harry and Izzy's has always been somewhere we can count on to have great food and great service. We flew into town to see family and decided to celebrate my birthday dinner here. It was incredibly upsetting to have an experience so far below what we had expected. Our food was wonderful and I always enjoy the ambiance. But our server was awful. She was incredibly rude to us, very short to us and honestly barely showed up to the table. The final straw for me was when I went to tip at the end (which you now have to do directly in front of your server— something else I highly dislike), I asked about leaving a cash tip. I used to be a server for many years prior to opening my own business after grad school and always preferred cash tips so I like to leave them. She said I'd have to hit the “no tip” button and she rolled her eyes and walked away. It looked like the other servers near us were great but I'm highly disappointed in our service and it does make me hesitate to go back.
This was a dinner for my wife and I, from the moment that we walked in the staff was warm and welcoming. Our experience only got better from there. This was the first time that we had eaten here and was not sure what to expect. Morgan was our server and took great care of us. She was friendly, polite, patient, and entertaining. The food was incredible and they even made sure that there was no issue with my allergies (I am allergic to lemons). The chef and kitchen staff cook the food to perfection and made sure the food came out hot and at the same time. We will go back again
Great, as always. Our waitress was very helpful, informative and attentive. She shared how they do the ‘dry-aging', what all is in the bread pudding and even verified the coffee beans used in the French press.
From the moment we stepped in the door we were w Greeted and made to feel welcome. We were quickly seated and greeted by our server. Who was a pleasant knowledgeable young man. The shrimp cocktail was beyond compare! The prime rib was excellent as was the salad with salmon. Service was fast and efficient. We will definitely be back when visiting Indy!
