The staff for the fish fry, poker events, and the VFW itself are exceptional—very friendly and genuinely committed to ensuring you have a great experience and want to return. Drinks are reasonably priced, which is a rarity these days. The rental hall is quite spacious and can comfortably accommodate around 140 guests, although it can get a little warm inside. The rental fees are very affordable, but keep in mind that all beverages must be purchased through their bar, and a tip for the dedicated bartender is expected. Overall, the Warrenville VFW is a fantastic choice. It’s budget-friendly, enjoyable, and maintains a clean environment. The canteen has a cozy, dive-bar vibe that is surprisingly comfortable. While the wood paneling may seem a bit dated, it oddly fits the space, and you’re sure to have a great time there.

The Friday fish fry was outstanding! I believe the same team that used to host the fish fry at the Wheaton VFW is behind this one. I highly recommend the half-and-half plate, which includes cod, shrimp, fries, coleslaw, red sauce, and tartar sauce. Make sure to arrive right when they open at 5 p.m., as it tends to get busy quickly! They also offer takeout orders!
