Heritage Cafe - Warrington

Very nice place we visited, stopped for a coffee. Walked around the little farm and the lake. t was a lovely day. Would like to return in summer to see the rose gardens

The food in the display counter looked fresh and inviting ! But as you walked in you couldn’t fail to miss the smell of damp dog! There were lots ! Put me off eating there

Most of the food on offer was OK but as my partner is wheat intolerant we asked for GF options but the choice was very limited. What was delivered was truly awful. It consisted of two very thin pieces of bread with a minuscule amount of cheese and ham. A pice of GF cake was given as compensation but what we really wanted was a decent savoury GF offering.

Continual flow of people entering the cafe not wearing a mask. Waiting inside the cafe without masks for their takeout order or walking to the tables therefore putting customers in the cafe at risk. May I suggest that there is a sign placed at the door asking people entering to wear a mask to deter irresponsible visitors from entering without one.

I get people are crazy about dogs but when they are approximately six dogs puking on the floor, farting, fighting and constantly yapping it kinda puts me off my mocha.
