Contribuisci feedbackUnique ambience for local Polish food. We ordered from special menu tea and grated potato pancakes. Autumn tea was delicious, but pancakes where too thin and too fried. Rib portion was huge. Tap beer selection was limited. In-house lemonade was nice. Service could be more attentive as we waited 15 minutes for the refill. When you put empty beer glass by the corner of the table while you are still eating, it's a call for refill.
A popular Polish restaurant with a retro interiorThe marinated roast duck with Polish cherry sauce, baked apple stewed beetroot was delicious All the side ingredients on the plate were stunning!! And matched perfectly with the duck which has been well cooked
Visited this wonderful restaurant with work Colleagues while in Warsaw. I had requested we ate at a traditional Polish restaurant and this certainly was an excellent choice. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Some very famous people have been photographed eating at this restaurant that was established in 1909 and now I know why.. Highly recommended for a true Polish dining experience while visiting Warsaw
This place has been themed Socialist and makes a good show of it. Well done! The prices are tourist-oriented, so be aware this is not a cheap eat. But it 's a good eat, and staff is well trained and friendly. Much better than any of the city-center traditional cuisine restaurants. I recommend coming for dinner. The only reason I don 't give 5 stars is that they went out of Sauerkraut, which I personally think is a no-go.
Anything listed in the New York Times’ 36 Hour series is to be taken seriously. It’s why we stopped in for a Sunday dinner around 18.00 in August. Here’s our experience. 1) Food: Everything was excellent. We ordered the chicken soup and pasta for our six-year-old daughter. My wife and I ordered the cup or borscht. It’s just broth but delicious. We got a variety of dumplings and the fried cheese. 2) Drinks: Beer, wine, juice, they have it all. I ordered their “Bruce Willis” cocktail, a recipe from the actor. It was refreshing. 3) Service: Candidly, it was abrasive. Our server was distracted and when we wasn’t, he was forceful. He told us what we should order without listening to our likes and dislikes.
