My wife and Mum walked into the shop to find out taxi information etc... Brian very kindly offered to take both of them to Warwick to see the vet. Outstandingly wonderful gesture. People like this do not come about often. Should you be in the Lapworth lock flight, pop in! Fantastic array of food and drink available. Plus the most helpful and wonderful people you can come across
We had a delightful experience at this charming café. Located near the Kingswood Junction where the Stratford Canal and Grand Union Canal meet, the café offers a scenic canal side setting with outdoor seating overlooking the lock. The staff were very friendly and the hot and cold drinks, as well as the fresh cakes, were reasonably priced. The only downside was needing to walk 6 miles along the canal path to work off the calories from the delicious Rocky Road Chocolate Cake we indulged in. Despite this, we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
This is a fantastic spot to enjoy some tea and cake during a walk along the canal or if you're driving, it's conveniently located behind the Boot at Lapworth. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return for another visit. They also have a variety of plants and unique items available for purchase.
Cannot wait to visit briar cottage again. Fantastic cake's at very good prices. Very interesting shop and plants for sale
Super place to stop for a drink and a piece of cake! Wonderful value, and very friendly and helpful service. We will certainly be back.
