Dave's Fresh Marketplace/west Shore Rd

I won a $25 Dave 's gift card at a charity event for a 17 boy who was killed by a drunk driver. When I tried to use the gift card, the cashier said that card only had $5 on it. She called the manager over and they both treated me as if I was trying torip off the store. They both said that I must have used the card before. I left the store humiliated and confused. Thestore manager called me later and said tech support checked the card and When the card was activated, the person who activatedit only put $5 on it. I said, So Dave 's donated a $25 gift card that only had $5 on it? That 's pretty shabby. He repeated, All I can say sir is when the card was activated, the person who activated it only put $5 on it. I asked, Does that makesense? Who puts only $5 on a gift card? Did Dave 's rip off this charity on purpose? He repeated for the THIRD time, All Ican say sir is when the card was activated, the person who activated it only put $5 on it. Well Dave 's, for that $20difference, you lost a customer for life. Any business that would cheat a charity does not deserve my business. UPDATE: As youcan see in Google reviews, Dave 's contacted me after I posted that negative review. I immediately emailed the person whoresponded to the review and THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. I still haven 't heard from them months later. I guess Dave 's PRdepartment responds publicly on Google to sound helpful and then ignores you in private. My opinion of Dave 's has not changed.

I have to say that the employees at this Dave's are much more pleasant then the one at Hoxie. I'll be driving the extra 10 minutes from now on to come to this daves here on west shore rd!! The employess at hoxie are miserable and seem as tho theydon't even want to be there! Total opposite!!

Middle of road value market. You get what you pay for. Prepared foods are good but in my case the raw fish was dissapointing. As an aside the market employees are the best in RI.

Even with the costs rising for everything, I still find Dave's to try keep deals going, Has wonderful employees who are not only nice but really helpful . Store is very clean, no box's In your way or are they stocking where you can't get through foryour item. For my daughters first job I feel this place to be right start. Recommend Dave's market. Now praying food priceseverywhere start going back down eggs 3.99 lol Yet Dave's trys.

Love Dave's sales love the market on west shore road . The atmosphere is inviting and friendly .the employees are friendly and if in a electric scooter they come around and put bags in cart for you. Love the store presentation it's very clean and prettywell stocked specifically for COVID being around. The meats look pretty fresh love the square party box pizza it's good . It'samazing all the prepared foods they do for those who can't cook or don't want to cook lol. Thanks Dave's west shore road keepthe great job up.
