Great place to hang out and eat fresh fruits. but too expensive if they want to go home. I took strawberries to house for $60, they were $6.99/lb
We went to Ochs many many times but never wrote a review. Ochs is a great way to spend time with nature, family and see where you food comes from. Yesterday we spend some time picking delicious Strawberries on the field while enjoying family and the amzing view surrounding the Farm. We cant just leave witheout saying hello to the Donkey, Sheap and goats at the pedding zoo and sure not leaving without some Cider Doughnuts… Ochs totally is worth a trip if you like down to earth and non fancy activities and dont mind to get dirty while you digging for your own Lunch and Dinner on the fields. Strawberries are more expensive than in the store almost $6 a pound) and for some reason they charge additional $5 entrance fee for everyone over 4 years. So I was a bit disappointed by that and only give 4 stars… Highly recommend to everyone and we will be back soon!!

So how can I explain how much I loved and enjoyed this place? I thought I was just going to go and pick up apples, to my surprise it was a full field of everything! I went in October so I picked up apples, green and red peppers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, eggplants, sweet potatoes, green beans… I enjoyed the walk, the views, the smell, perfect place to spend a morning. Then afterwards the food!! The pies and donuts! They had some farm animals which was very cute. Price for two people was $18 and they give you a big bag to fill with anything you want. Then coming back to Connecticut was a gorgeous drive as I tried just going through the mountains, I was MESMERIZED by the views!!! Highly recommended and will be going back again.Oh and plus, they had pumpkins and sunflowers!!!!!!
