Ate every bite and enjoyed it quite a bit. I prefer Coke to Pepsi, so I popped into the Domino’s directly next door and grabbed a Diet Coke to enjoy on Tommy’s patio. The crinkle cut fries were also quite good.
Googled 'Best place for Clam Fritters in RI ' and Tommy 's came up. Jumped in the Jeep lllllll from Worcester off we went. This place is worth the drive from wherever u location! Just absolutely DELICIOUS! Google was correct......thevClam fritters were THE BEST!
Best lobster bisque I ever had and I was in seafood fine restaurant biz for decades. Not too milky, balanced with lobster flavor, right touch of sherry.. Amazing clam fritters! Crisp outside and perfect dough inside.(Blows another famous spot in Gansett out of the water; ..and very close to my native RI Mom’s recipe passed through the generations that is unsurpassed.. til now??
Originally from Boston, travel for work along NE, SE and Gulf coast regions. Always nice to find great spots in New England. Clams were exactly what I've been craving. Excellent and no region in the country makes clam chowder the way its done in most New England Restaurants. Tommy's was no different. Lol wanted to post the fried clams but I ate them before I remembered to take the picture . Great Food, Great Value
This was a fun experience. The vibe and setting was fun. It could've been the day or my palette, but, the lobster roll wasn't all that I had hyped myself up for. I'd still visit again simply because the chowder was fantastic and the service was friendly and cheery.
