West River Cookhouse - Wasaga Beach

Love this place! The top place to eat in Wasaga. Great food in a indy restaurant.

The couple that run this restaurant are exceptional people. Very friendly and remember customers. Small but nice and clean. Food is fantastic. Apple fritter dessert is awesome. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Met some friends there for dinner. Excellent service and we all really enjoyed our meals. 3 of our party had the daily special of veal or chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce, red cabbage and spaetzle or potato cakes. Very tasty. We couldn't resist the homemade dessert of apple fritter served with vanilla ice cream topped with caramel sauce. Yum! I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good home cooked meal at reasonable prices. We will be sure to return next time we are in the area.

The restaurant experience was good, our waitress was really attentive and checkin on us constantly. The food options were really good as well as the pricing. Portions are big and taste is really good. For sure coming back.

Fish Chips were horrible and the mac n cheese. Cook was angry and swore that he had too cook food in front of customers. Will not recommend or return.
