Alfa Piehouse - Washington

This little piece of heaven is a must stop if you are visiting DC. Home cooked fresh Greek food, pastry and pies. The staff were amazingly friendly and you get that small town diner feel in a huge city. I'll be back!!!

After a full day of exploring, my family and I were famished and happened upon the Pie House. Despite arriving five minutes after closing time, the owner graciously welcomed us and prepared fresh sandwiches and salads for us. She even surprised us with complimentary spanakopita desserts (Tiramisu, cheesecake and chocolate cake!). We enjoyed a delightful conversation as we dined. Overall, it was a fantastic restaurant experience. Thank you, Ms. Tina!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tasted, from the frappe to the lunch dishes to the desserts. The owners were incredibly welcoming and kind. I would highly recommend this charming Greek cafe to anyone in search of a clean and cozy dining experience.
