Watch out for this Ramen restaurant. I was enjoying my meal until I bit into a sharp bone that hurt my mouth. Eat slowly and be cautious! When I showed it to the server, they simply apologized and still charged me as if nothing had happened. And to top it off, they added a 20% service fee, possibly for the bone incident. This is not the kind of customer service you would expect in America.
This restaurant has more of a diner or fast food atmosphere with plastic bench seating. Surprisingly, they offer both fried chicken and ramen on their menu. I would suggest trying their fried chicken over the ramen since the ramen portions are a bit small. The Nashville Fried Chicken plate and Curry Snow Fried Chicken plate are both delicious options.
I was very pleased with the food at this restaurant. The flavors were fantastic. The only downside was the 20% mandatory service fee added to the bill, which includes tips for the service. I believe this is unfair, as tipping should be a customer's choice as a token of appreciation. The restaurant is changing the traditional meaning of tipping. Both Bantam King and their sister restaurant mention a 20% service fee on their menus, with the option to remove or adjust it at the customer's discretion. However, Bantam King did not honor this and forced the fee on customers.
A great spot for after a Wizards game. Hard to choose between the ramen and the fried chicken, so we had both and were not disappointed. Dumplings were also good, but maybe not quite as good.
