The food is outstanding everything on the menu is a surprise. You walk in and thing ok nice, but nothing special unpretentious. But then the first bite, and the second, and you are like whoa wait a minute! The gumbo is especially good I often get one to go and the Pittsburgh cheesesteak? Forget about it Philly get on I 95 and try this one! This last time I decided to range out from my favorites, and try the pasta bolognese. Boring, right? Nope eyes roll back in the head good. Oh and remember the unpretentious part? Yep, totally kid friendly. Huzzah for Blue 44 may you live long and prosper!
I mean I thought this was a football sports bar given the name. But it is not. Curious how the owner settled on Blue 44. While the game was not on (Seahawks), I was early enough to try the food. It was brunch still and the restaurant smelled amazing. I opted for a cheeseburger with bacon though and it was perfect.
We partnered with Blue 44 for a large event at Escher apartments in the Washington metropolitan area. Chris and his team impressed us with their attention to detail, quality service, and delicious food. They quickly put together a fantastic menu, delivered and staged the event, and received many compliments from our residents.
