The coffee was delicious, and we did not need to add any sugar to make it taste good. We also had avocado toast and a croissant which were also tasty. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back.
Very cute location, love the ambiance! The outdoor terrace is gorgeous. Coffee and breakfast was tasty, just find the prices a little too steep.
We waited 30 minutes for our drinks then an additional hour for our food. I overheard Malikh interact with another customer who was asking about tea and he replied ?we don?t have tea we?re a coffee shop? in a very rude voice. When I asked Malikh about our order he replied ?you?re just going to have to wait a minute.? Alright? I waited 60. Immediately after I had that interaction our food came out and the lady who brought it out was very nice and apologized. I?m sorry I didn?t catch her name I would like to give her a shout out. My husband and I were so hungry we didn?t notice the order was messed up. He just received an egg sandwich when it was supposed to be a egg/bacon croissant. Food was alright otherwise, a little overpriced, you just need to work on customer service skills. I understand the staff was stressed and short on help (I only saw 3 people working) but that one employee was the only one being openly rude. I would have left a better review if it weren?t for him.
Love here. I only had iced long black and the taste was fantastic. Their coffee taste really soft. Especially I love this location's restroom. The restroom is shared with the Hotel next to this cafe. It was extremely clean!
I wanted to commend the staff. This week my mom and I came here every morning- she and my dad were visiting from Maine. This morning someone came in and was getting very angry about something with their which made us extremely nervous. It was escalating quickly, and we worried a weapon might appear (especially in todays climate). The barista at the counter, a black man with dreads (didn?t get his name, sorry) deescalated the situation very well and said the customer needed to calm down in a very professional manner. The situation was handled extremely well and we were very impressed. In a city like this you can never be too careful, and we felt extremely safe in his presence. I am hoping you can reward him somehow and let him know how much he impacted our day. Also, the food and drinks are AWESOME.
