Capital Doner - Washington

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious! It is well-prepared and packed with flavor. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is just right. We will definitely be returning! I absolutely loved it!

I spent three years living in Germany and this is the first time I feel like I'm having real Doner in the states. This place is amazing, the sandwich is huge, and the people are great. I've been eating here nearly once a week and couldn't recommend it more!

The donor was really good. nice add-on options and sauces. And the pistachio baklava was really good.I went back on a Saturday when they had just received their baklava shipment from Turkey, so I'm updated the baklava photo. Great baklava!

The Doner at this restaurant is decent, slightly better than average. However, it is not worth the higher price compared to the Michelin-starred Ottoman Tavern just a few blocks away, where prices are almost double. The prices here are not justified. The service is good, but lacks professionalism. The chef making the Doner is friendly and welcoming. Overall, I have tried the Doner at both restaurants and would definitely choose the Ottoman Tavern next time.

We visited this restaurant with our family of four after switching from another Mediterranean restaurant. My wife and older daughter were determined to have fresh Turkish doner. The location was convenient and we ordered 2 Iskender kebabs and 1 sandwich. The meat quality seemed good, however my wife felt that there was something missing in the taste. It may have been due to the thickness of the meat or the way it was cooked. The staff was attentive and friendly, but the prices were on the higher side. The Iskender kebab was $26 and the sandwich was $16, totaling over $110 for three people. My daughter finished her meal while my wife left more than half uneaten. I believe the chef may have been distracted, but he was sincere and recommended ordering a traditional doner plate instead. We plan to give them another chance as we believe they have the potential for a 5-star rating, thanks to their fresh meat and good service. Thank you to the friendly staff.
