H Chicken - Washington

On my second order, I tried the baked mac and cheese and it was absolutely divine! I’m already looking forward to my next trip to DC. The chicken is packed with flavor and the fried chicken and baked mac and cheese are simply irresistible!

This is definitely the place to be! Previously called Crown Fried Chicken, H Chicken is a straightforward joint serving fried chicken, waffles, and delicious sides. The chicken is well-seasoned with just the right amount of spice, making ordinary bland chicken seem unappealing by comparison. For sides, you can choose from fries, mac and cheese, collard greens, and coleslaw. A three-piece chicken meal with a side and a biscuit costs about $12. If you're looking for more, you can get a nine-piece with two sides for just $22. They also offer tenders, gyros, and a few other random items on the menu.

The highlight of H Chicken is definitely its late-night hours. After a night out, it's the perfect place to grab some delicious, hot food. The service was great and I had no issues with my order. My friends really enjoyed this place too; we headed over here after the H Street festival. Overall, the food is quite tasty!
