Grist Mill- Hilton Garden Inn Washington Dc

Wow. the ambiente is not unforgettable, but eating is amazing. also, not from the bland descriptions on the menu cook will artley added layers of taste to any dish, often times with a pop of heat or additional taste directly at the end of the bite and the presentation of each plate is so beautiful and visually appealing and creative five stars!

We stayed in dc on vacation and were looking for a last minute place to take the family, other than fast serve places. grist mill was reachable to foot, got right in, eating and service was great.

Excellent eating and service . this is a lost gem in dc.

The restaurant refused to honor our reservation. It was the eve of the Women's March, and they were completely packed. We hurried across the city for dinner, looking forward to our reservation, only to be turned away at the door. It was a case of poor planning. To make matters worse, I wasn't able to book another restaurant because Grist hadn't removed us from the system, leaving me with two reservations at the same time. It was incredibly frustrating.

The location is extremely convenient, right across from the front desk. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed dinner, breakfast, and room service. For dinner, I had a delicious individual margarita pizza. At breakfast, we were able to order made-to-order omelettes and freshly made waffles, both of which were delicious. While the buffet is small, it offers a good variety and provides a nice start to the day. A major highlight for room service was the speed and accuracy of delivery, along with the quality of the food.
