The miso dressing added a unique and delicious depth of flavor to the fresh greens, making it a standout appetizer. The Asian cauliflower was a revelation. The perfectly roasted florets were coated in a mouthwatering glaze that struck a harmonious balance between sweet and savory. It was a true explosion of flavors. The tuna tataki was a work of art. Slices of perfectly seared tuna, adorned with sesame seeds and a zesty sauce, melted in my mouth. It was a culinary masterpiece and a testament to the skill of the chef.I was fortunate to be at Immigrant during happy hour, and it was an absolute blast. The atmosphere was lively, and the unique pina colada I sipped on was a tropical delight. It was a refreshing departure from the usual happy hour fare. What truly stood out was the personal touch of the manager, who took the time to pass by my table. It's these gestures that make a dining experience memorable and showcase the dedication of the staff to ensuring every guest has a fantastic time.In sum, my visit to Immigrant was a culinary journey that I won't soon forget. The creative dishes, unique cocktails, and attentive staff make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Don't miss the chance to explore their menu and soak in the fantastic ambiance.
I finally went to this place!! Very nice ambiance and friendly staff. The Indian samosas were delicious, loved the tamarind flavor. Duck was good, the burger was okay, it was a bit dry for me.They do the last call for drinks around 8:30pm, then we just stayed there talking for a while. They didn’t try to make us leave, which was surprising to me and I appreciate it. Unlike many other places where they rush you out once you’ve finished eating.
This place is my favorite location of Immigrant Food. Not only do I admire the work they do for immigrant communities, but I love almost everything on their menu. My favorites are the the Japanese meatballs, lamb skewers, Belgian fries. They also have amazing cocktails and I love to be there during happy hour. Highly recommend!
Food is good! But the best grill cheese I have ever had!!! Go for yourself and try it! It’s attached to the museum which was really nice!We had the Grilled Cheese, Immigrant Poke, Madame VP Heritage, and Belgian fries.
Immigrant Food is a beautiful and vibrant restaurant in a convenient location with delicious food. I had the tequeños, the cochinita pibil bao buns, agua de jamaica and the Persian pistachio buns. The tequeños are a must and are the perfect starter. (Tip: save some of the spicy mayo and spread it on the tostones and then add guacamole. The meat in the buns were cooked well and the buns themselves were perfectly chewy, and the pickled onion added a bit of a crunch. The jamaica was very refreshing for a hot day like today, and a bee actually wanted some and landed on my glass. The Persian pistachio buns were rich, fluffy and sweet, and the orange glaze complemented the flavours well. Overall, come to Immigrant Food for a warm atmosphere, indoors or outdoors, and food you'll want to eat virtually every day.
