Restaurant week menu has great options. I didn't like them to force the whole party to choose the same number of curses. because their regular menu is expensive, rw was a lot. really enjoyed the crabs. absolutely loved the trout. beautiful that I went

Jackie american bistro had a nice interieur! butttt the service made the experience quite not worth it. we visited for the restaurant week, and while the food and menu options were great, we waited quite literally 3.5 hours on our main trip. we had a reservation of 7:45 and went around 11 o'clock. our waiter at a point suggested that he forgot to put our food in bed (as sweat, but the more we think about it, the more we don't think he joking. the three tables next to us (similar size parties were set after us, and left before us. my two friends ordered a bottle of wine to share – although they come to find that it was from inventory. our waiter tried to submit and said he had a recommendation within the same price point. after billing it was $40 more expensive than the originally ordered bottle. none of the vegetarian options on the actual restaurant weekly menu ended available. after an hour waiting for only our starter I wanted to gtfo. overall, really really wish that I don't pay $100 for this dinner. if someone wants to read and balance this from jackie – maybe I would return:

Terrible eating, bad service. lumpy spaghetti, which tasted like a lean kitchen. they have completely forgotten our salate courses that were brought out after pasta. of the two restaurant weeks desserts they were from such a firm with the pistachio torte, the literally only dyed impact cream with comminuted pistachios. great restaurant experience.

We had a great experience here for Restaurant Week! The food and drinks were delicious, and the menu had some great options—something for everyone! I’ll definitely be back!

Bastian our server was wonderful. The food came out quick and the look of the place was truly magical. Even in the restrooms! Went in the daytime, but am dying to come back at night to see the place lit up. Would highly recommend if you are in Navy Yard.
