They served me a more expensive wine than what I ordered without informing or consulting me, then charged me the higher price and wouldn’t adjust it. The server insisted that I should have been able to taste the difference and mentioned it right away, as if everyone is a wine expert. The pasta was decent but not remarkable, and it definitely wasn't worth enduring the poor service (they also never refilled my water).
My husband and I visited Georgetown to celebrate my birthday. Although we couldn't secure a dinner reservation, we arrived around 3:30 PM and were seated after just a five-minute wait. Our experience at this restaurant was unforgettable. It began with three types of homemade bread, followed by fresh appetizers and flavorful entrees. We savored homemade amaretto and concluded with the best cannoli we've ever had.
Amazing food. The freshness of this food is something I have rarely seen in restaurants. Satisfying yet not heavy. Very happy to have stopped by. They totally accommodated my vegetarian preferences. The owner stopped by multiple times to make sure everything was to satisfaction.
Food was delicious. I started with these two jumbo shrimp encrusted with coconut, on a bed of oranges in a really tasty orange sauce. It's one of the chef's creations and was unique and delightful. The penne alla vodka and my risotto were absolutely decadent. One richer and tastier than the next. We had a really tasty dry red wine. I got the minestrone for my appetizer- very flavorful and filling. I also got the chicken parmigiana which was bigger than what I?m used to. It comes with a side of spaghetti. I?m not sure what the dessert was called but it was a chocolate shell filled with gelato and it was absolutely divine. Their selection of wines were nice as well.
