La Vie - Washington

So beautiful. The ambiance and decor is stunning. Food and service is amazing.

The food was good not fabulous, considering the price. The lamb chops were very good though. Creative cocktails but small wine by the glass list. It was a little loud but beautiful atmosphere.

I love going to la vie because of not only the food but also the ambiance.

This lovely restaurants overlooks the SW waterfront and Potomac River. We went for a prix fixe menu on Thanksgiving Day. The preview menu was for three courses, but we added three glasses of wine, a half dozen oysters, and a single salmon fillet to top our two pasta entrees. The cost came to about $450, including gratuity. The food was delicious, and very rich.

Celebrated my best friends birthday this weekend and it was wonderful. Amazing service, delicious food and the best vibes. Can’t wait to come back!
