Little Italy Brick Oven Pizza Cafe

Unfortunately my wife’s pasta order was mixed up as the online ordering was a bit confusing.

I like to order from Little Italy every once in a while as a treat and something has definitely changed as for the first time in a long time I've been disappointed.I ordered a panini and a Sicilian pizza. Neither were like any other time I've ordered from Little Italy. The panini bread was burnt to a crisp and the sandwich barely had any flavor. That's not even mentioning that there were half as many fries as usual which I could overlook if the sandwich was up to snuff.Then there was the pizza. You'd expect a Sicilian pie to be nice and thick. I've order their Sicilian special, which seems to no longer be on the menu, and it was delicious and full of toppings. The pizza I received was as thin as any other pizza. I would have been better off ordering a regular pizza for the price I paid. What I received was edible, but not worth the 20$ plus I paid for it.

I normally do not post reviews but feel the need to for this restaurant. After moving to this area from Bergen County where there are a ton of amazing Italian eateries and pizza establishments, I have been completely disappointed in every place I have tried around here. I just stumbled upon Little Italy from DoorDash and honestly I am blown away and beyond excited that there is a local place that I love and will be ordering from consistently. Their pizza and all of the specialty dishes I have tried are absolutely amazing. I am so happy that I finally found a go to for Italian that I can compare to the amazing food I have missed back home.

The pizza, especially the deep dish, is awesome. I’ve heard less good about the other entres outside of the pizza, subs, and wings, but I really like the place.
