I came in and could her roast egg breakfast with a side salad, a side of speck and an americano for a decent price. overall the fried eggs were somewhat over boiled, the charalate was fresh, and the speck was solid, so no big complaining. I did not try any of their baked things, and the coffee was decent, it did me the morning when you know what I mean. overall, solid place, and look forward to going back and try some of their baked were next time with my coffee!
Poor food quality. Croissants were flat and stable. Mozzarella panini is tasteless and not worth the price. The ladies work friendly and friendly. Not her fault is eating bad.
I was shocked when I was in DC and saw Paul French bakery. I just wanted to go to Paris, France. This café right around the corner of the Hamilton Hotel where I stayed, which is convenient. They serve breakfast and lunch fair and it is all charming, tasteful and decent portions for value. When you enter, you are welcomed by friendly staff and the long range of glass display houses a delicious variety of sweet and hearty treats. Whether you are hungry or not, you can order everything! The hot sandwiches, the baked bread, the creamy desserts all were inviting. I ordered the hot sandwich Croque Madame and came with a green salad with fruit and ordered a strawberry Chantly baked cake. The sandwich was absolutely divine, crispy on the outside, savory melted cheese oozing. Salad was fresh. Strawberry Napoleon reminded me of my visits to Paris. I also had the Macaroons here. I had the chocolate and strawberry. Perfection! Order coffee, pastries. Bread, quiche, sandwiches, you can't go wrong. I hope they will expand over the east coast. It is not easy to find authentic French croissants. Especially the service was e-flow t, friendly and competent staff. I can't wait to come back. Merci beaucoup!
My wife and I visited dc at nye 2022. I used to be at paul when they had the place open in georgetown. this time we decided to try paul on the franklin square as it was near our hotel, just a few minutes away. it didn't disappoint us! it is a place to taste the breakfast. I'm sure they enjoy all the French delicious dishes, be it eating or dessert. cappuccino is also great! All in all we recommend to them the place when they are in the opposite!
Absolutely fantastic! The pastries are amazing as is the quiche. Great for breakfast or lunch!
