Prego Deli - Washington

This fantastic little deli is located directly across from the competition in Eastern Market. I ordered the #1 sandwich, and it was massive, featuring wonderfully soft bread.

I've been coming here since childhood, and I've always loved the subs. Now that I'm 51, I can confidently say they're still incredible!

I live just down the street from this restaurant, making it my top choice for lunch during workdays. They’re famous for their delicious sandwiches—I've sampled at least six different varieties, and each one has been fantastic. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and you can tell they’re made with care. I also regularly order soup and salad; all of their soups are delightful (my favorite is the Maryland Crab, which I absolutely adore… while there isn’t a lot of crabmeat, the flavor is excellent), and the salads are fresh and perfectly sized! I really love this place!

Excellent Panni's n Sandwiches decent prices. Wonderful location on Capital Hill

If you’re in the mood for an excellent breakfast sandwich, this is the place to go. It’s great tasting, consistent and fairly priced. Also the people that currently here are very nice. I went out of my way to come here verse somewhere else closer.
