Salumeria 2703 - Washington

I have been dining at this restaurant for over 6 years and have always enjoyed the convenience. However, since Shakita stopped working there, the service for me as a black woman has not been the same. Every time I order, I have to ask for something missing from my meal, such as a fork or dressing. The food is sometimes decent, but overall, the service has declined.

I had the best sandwich in DC at this restaurant. I still dream about the sandwiches I had for lunch there. I highly recommend it!

I have never had any issues at this restaurant. The staff is always friendly and the appetizers are very delicious.

After supporting this place and Menomale for years, I will not be coming back. They don’t even bother to post their correct business hours, I’ve come now 3 times during their opening hours and they are closed. That’s having zero respect for your clients.

They have some delicious sandwiches. The ingredients are quality. And their bread has a nice robust flavor and softness. The crudo dandwich might be my favorite and while a simple few ingredients, they take care to get the quality right. Also, they make their own Gelato with a rotation of flavors!
