That was not what I expected for a German beer garden. as others have said, this is rather a club than a beer garden. we came here at 2 o'clock on a Sunday, and their music was so incredibly loud on their terrace that none of us could have a conversation in our group. when we asked if there are other places to sit, a bartender told us no what seemed wild to me because they had a considerable interior that was completely empty. I have a club environment at night, but in daylight? that seems unnecessary and extremely unpleasant.

My phone got stolen here. Along with my debit card, id, and key to my building. Not the bar's fault but still beware. And yes, I'm writing this from my brand spanking new iPhone 13 that I had to buy out of pocket. Anyways, y'all stay safe out there

All the signs, inside and outside (why we came in) say that it’s happy hour. When I asked the bartender, she told us AFTER pouring our beers and taking our card that they “don’t have a happy hour.” Plus, the tab came with a 20% service charge. $25 for 2 beers and a cup of regret.

Me and my friends went here last Saturday after a very disappointing brunch somewhere else. The staff was very friendly, and helpful, and took our orders quickly. Drinks and food were both great, with decent prices. The DJ played a great mix of music and we all had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

Love this place! Had a horrible experience at a nearby brunch spot with some friends and decided to search up a local bar. Wait time was under 5 mins to get in. Upstairs, it was good music, clean environment, and AMAZING service by the bar staff. We were served immediately and the bartenders even make recommendations dependent upon my past order. 100% would return if I am in DC again.
