Taïm Mediterranean Kitchen

The food here was simply amazing! I have never really liked Mediterranean food my whole life, and so I was kind of scared to come here. My friends forced me to come, and I don't regret it! The flavors and textures were amazing, and I would definitely come here again!

I was upset when they stopped being kosher, but Taim still does make a quality Israeli style falafel. Some of the menu changes have confused me though it's like it's trying to be a build your own bowl CAVA place but with too many customization options.

The falafel flavor and freshness has gone seriously downhill. I used to make an effort to go to an original Taïm location in the NYC West Village. The green falafel was moist, delicious, and you could see the fresh chopped herbs. I told people Taïm had the best falafel available on the East Coast. But the times I?ve been to this and the Georgetown location, they basically tasted like the falafel made from pre-made mix at the grocery store. Is it just that the DC locations make bad falafel, or is this a Taïm business-wide problem? The market for falafel in this region has multiplied, and Taïm USED to stand above the rest. :

The service here is always great. The manager Edgar is always helpful and definitely always assists as much as possible when I have big orders. The food quality is great and glad that the menu expanded to include other items. Great store and great options!

I got one of the falafel bowls. The menu was a little confusing, but it worked out. The food was tasty, but they added stuff to my bowl that I didn?t request. I?m pretty easy going. So, I ate it, but would be good to avoid for others. We had a small group and there was lots of seating. Many folk were taking take out. There wasn?t a visible ice machine. So, the ginger lemonade, which was good, but it wasn?t cold?more room temperature. Good place for people with kids and groups paying separately due to the laid back nature of the space.
