Hot and absolutely delectable. I would go back weekly if time permitted. The go to was the Chicken Waffles. The 2 out of 3 of us has it at my table. The tables on both sides of us had the chicken and waffles as well. DELISH!
Food was amazing the whole group enjoyed their food. Ate it so quick forgot to take a pic customer service was on point. Would definitely recommend. Not much seating so you my have to wait but it?s worth it.
Loved, loved, loved their food. Had the ???? n ????. It was bomb. One of the best ???? and ???? I have ever had.
We had a late lunch at this restaurant recommended by a friend while in a group of 4. The place had a funky vibe with Black Lives Matter signs, which was nice to see. I ordered the Salmon cake with scrambled eggs and cheesy grits. The eggs and grits were excellent, while the salmon cake was good but slightly dry. Perhaps adding some olive oil would have improved it. The menu had many diverse options to please a variety of tastes. If you find yourself in DC and in the area, I recommend supporting this restaurant.
Visited the restaurant after only a brief visit to Washington D.C. We initially attempted to have breakfast at a nearby IHOP, but it was extremely busy. Thankfully, we discovered this hidden gem after doing a quick Google search. I am so happy that we decided to give it a try. The ambiance was fantastic! We were able to find a peaceful table towards the back of the restaurant. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, which were absolutely delicious! It was hands down the best breakfast I have ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the waffles were crispy and golden. My husband ordered The Big Breakfast along with a cappuccino, both of which he thoroughly enjoyed.
