I noticed that many of the dishes I tried had a subtle sweetness to them, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other Chinese/Hong Kong restaurants I have visited. I am also a big fan of their Baijiu drinks and am enjoying sampling all of them.
This restaurant is a great choice for dinner, with excellent food, drinks, and atmosphere. It is recommended to make reservations on weekends as it can get busy, but if you are a party of 2 you may be able to find a seat at the bar. The menu offers dishes designed for sharing and there is a variety of options to choose from. The service was attentive and the courses came out in a timely manner. The Pork and Mango Bao, dumplings, combo fried rice, and char siu are highly recommended. The restaurant is popular, even late on a Saturday evening, with a full dining room. Takeout is also available and these dishes would be great for takeout or delivery.
We went to Tiger Fork for dinner on a Thursday night. Securing a reservation was more difficult than a COVID check (for most people). They offer a variety of pork dishes on the menu, which I enjoyed. The buns were delicious, the pork belly was not too fatty and cooked perfectly, and the roast pork had a great flavor - not like the typical Chinese restaurant pork that can cause stomach issues later on. However, the fried rice was too fishy for my liking, as there were a lot of seafood options on the menu that I had to avoid. The service was okay but somewhat odd - it seemed rushed at times but lacked attention at others. If they added more options to their menu, I would consider returning.
Good restaurant and great food. The atmosphere is really nice with the big bar and they have a nice outdoor area too. The food was good even though it was a bit expensive. Our waitress was really nice and helpful too. We had a good time there and we?ll certainly come back.
If you like sweet food, this is your place! Did I mention it?s sweet? They like the sugar! Started with pork mango buns was too close to ketchup. The mushroom/ broccoli dumplings were ok and flavor was totally masked/covered by slightly spicy red sauce. Tiny pea shoots dish was surrounded by sweet sauce. Never had fried rice that?s sweet. It?s a theme. Shout out to great service and wonderfully designed space. My recommendation: grab a drink at the bar! Dineelsewhere. Have opinions; Will share
