Uncle Chip's Cookies - Washington

I have been eagerly anticipating trying the cinnamon bun from Onkel Chip for quite some time. Located off North Capitol Road, Onkel Chip is easy to spot with its teal color. I have heard great things about the cinnamon bun and I am grateful for the opportunity to finally try it. The staff is friendly and the cinnamon bun is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it.

Onkel Chip is a fantastic sandwich and cookie shop. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy one of their delicious sandwiches and top it off with a cookie. Don't forget to check out their selection of teas and lemonades as well. I really enjoy this small business and make an effort to visit whenever I'm in this area of the city. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Each item is crafted with care and it truly shows. I love Onkel Chip's offerings.

I started my morning with an amazing cinnamon roll at this restaurant, but I also ordered a turkey sandwich. I was too full after the cinnamon roll to eat the sandwich, so I saved it for later. At 4:30, I took a bite of the sandwich and put it back in the fridge to save for dinner. Later on, I couldn't resist and took multiple bites of the delicious sandwich. It was so good that I couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommended!

Shannon and the team of uncle chip are incredible. I used it first for an extreme last-minute work-lunch order and we have been back since. the sandwiches and salads are great, and the cookies are the best. they remember the smallest details to make every returning customer feel special. I'm going there now, even if I'm gone to get my favorite sandwich.

These are some of the best cookies I’ve had in DC, especially the double chocolate!
