Capitol City Brewing Co.

The women's restroom was in terrible condition. The floor was wet, and there was an unpleasant odor. The paper towel roll was left on the counter for everyone to handle. This was the only downside of my visit. However, the service from the host, waiter, and staff was excellent, especially their patience with multiple payment methods.

My recent experience at Capital City Brewery was somewhat of a mixed bag. Although the service was satisfactory, the food didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of taste and appearance. Regrettably, we had to return one dish because it was unappealing in its presentation.

I had been in DC for a week, and this restaurant was located directly across from my hotel. Most evenings when I walked by, it appeared a bit too crowded for my liking. However, on my last day in town, I decided to pop in around lunchtime on a Friday when it was less busy. I ordered a whiskey drink along with a Reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries. The food was tasty, but the Reuben's description claimed it would be "piled high," and I wouldn’t quite say it lived up to that description, though it was still enjoyable. The fries were good, and the bar service was excellent, so I have no complaints.

Cool spot! The food was better than expected for a brew pub. Plenty of good beers, regardless of what you are in to. Also, some interesting “hoptails”. I will probably be visiting again while in town!

On 9/13 the guy's and I tried out this spot. We were going to leave because the bar looked full and we had a group of 10. We decided to give it a chance and sat at a table. The food was good, the beers was absolutely delicious. Our server Meghan was very outstanding, made us feel welcomed, she made sure we never had an empty glass. She was absolutely amazing at her job. We definitely recommend this brewing company and we will definitely be back soon.
