The staff here are very friendly, but the coffee is overly sweet and lacks flavor. The espresso doesn't have a distinct roast profile. The pumpkin cream cold brew is mostly cream and sugar, making it quite heavy on sweetness. If you're a fan of coffee that resembles a Frappuccino, you'll probably enjoy this place.
I always have a great experience at Compass. The beans are flavorful and not overly roasted, unlike some other places. The service is attentive, and I appreciate being able to order my drink “for here” so I don’t waste a cup and lid. One downside is that the Franklin Park location can be a bit uncomfortable on sunny days since it feels like a giant greenhouse, but overall, it’s a wonderful place.
Great coffee shop with decent pastries, courteous and efficient staff. No significant wait in the morning during the week as they are quite quick in moving folks through. The scone I had seemed to be a bit old, not fresh however.
This is my favorite coffee shop in the city. The espresso is infinitely better than other places (especially big chains) and the service is always top notch, now matter what location you visit.
