But all the flavors are good and will sneak up on you!!Food: this is coming from Southern folks.Lamb chops and eggs: 6/10: wo the gravy it's delicious...but it's something about the gravey that throws it off. Play with the recipe more.Shrimp and grits/ Fish and grits: 10/10: Absolutely delicious!!!Crab spinach dip: 10/10... even the chips alone were fresh and well seasoned.Deviled Eggs with crab meat: 10/10....finger linking good.Chicken wings: 8/10...still very good. If I could perfect it, I would say heavier on the seasoning.Voodoo Shrimp-8/10 slight kick and tolerable..not too spicy. Very good. Our waitress was top tier...I wish I got her name again, but she was amazing (petite black girl with braids). She accommodated the hell out of our table. Super nice and friendly.DJ- it was a damn day party!!!! We had a ball!!! Everyone got home and took naps at 5pm to recover.Definitely recommend.Parking: Plenty of paid parking.
Creole on the 14th is the truth.. Great atmosphere, food and service. I stopped by on Saturday afternoon and brunch was still being served around 2 pm. The place was jumping with music and everyone in the place was enjoying themselves. I had a great time and so will you.
Food was great and absolutely delicious and our server was wonderful. The restaurant has a lot of potential! The reasons for the 2 star review are because it is quite overpriced on top of the 20% surcharge they added to the bill, which is NOT gratuity and isn’t guaranteed to go to the staff so you are paying an extra 40% on top of the high cost meal. The surcharge also wasn’t communicated prior to sitting down as this would have deterred the group from eating here. Moreover, there were several gnats and then an increasing number of flies while trying to eat. I ended up having to cover my food and box it to eat in peace at home. Not at all worth it.
Creole Food and Drinks got me wanting more I ordered the Creole Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini It was so Delicious that I ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, Seafood Fried Rice, Oxtail Stew and Fried Plantains to go I’m definitely going back for
One of the hidden gems of dc. Great for any occasion on the first date or just plane hungry! Best brunch on the East Coast by far! If you visit DC you can't miss this place. Don't let parking intimidate you. simply park at the parking deck that is behind the target, and it is a 2mn walk across the street. True ? of the city's food scene!
