Don Juan - Washington DC

The food was tasty, but I felt the portion of meat in my sopa de res was a bit stingy. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor; I only saw the server twice—once when she handed me the menu and again when she brought the check. Other than that, she was nowhere to be found. It was a bit of a letdown overall. Good food, but disappointing service.

The food is excellent, but I wouldn't dine in because it doesn't feel like a family restaurant; it has more of a bar vibe. I only use the takeout option.

I ordered pupusas, but unfortunately, they were quite dry. My friend had an horchata that was watered down, along with a burrito. The burrito lacked flavor, the rice was overly salty, and the beans were burnt. Overall, the food was disappointing.

I Used to visit this restaurant frequently. So today I went back and haven?t been in a while. I stood in line for 10 mins with no customers in the restaurant?. And was refused service. I just went to the new Taco spot across the street and called it a day! Maybe I?ll try again at night when the staff seems more competent!

Lots of indoor outdoor seating, a massive menu, decent drinks. Lots of vegetarian options ????, and they were vegan accommodating as well. A solid neighborhood spot worth enjoying if you're in the neighborhood anyways.
