Kyoto Japanese - Washington DC

I've eaten a lot of sushi over the years, but the Special Ninja Roll I ordered from Kyoto was hands down the best I've ever tasted. I requested my roll not to be deep-fried, and the waiter was attentive, ensuring I received exactly what I wanted. My friend had some specific customizations for her sushi as well, and she was equally satisfied with her order. The green tea was served hot and had a wonderfully natural flavor. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

It might sound odd, but I've never tried the sushi here. However, I can say that their other dishes are fantastic. The prices are reasonable for generous portion sizes. While it's not the cheapest option, I believe the quality justifies the cost.

The service is good, and the food is enjoyable. We've dined here a few times, and the fish has consistently been fresh. However, the restaurant's bathroom is almost out of order, and there is an unpleasant odor that can be noticeable. It's best to sit near the entrance. With only one waitress on duty, getting refills and completing payments can take a bit longer than expected.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. I usually don't eat sushi because I hate the taste or the texture, but this restaurant made sushi extremely tasty. The price isn't expensive so it's affordable, AND the meat is high quality. who doesn't want high quality food for a cheaper price? This shop is AWESOME. They even have WiFi and it is open on Saturday. THIS RESTAURANT IS OPEN ON SATURDAY. I also heard from the owner that he is planning to make a website soon because he is tired of everyone getting confused over times and prices and stuff like that. AWESOME food, KIND owner, NICE workers, BEAUTIFUL design and WONDERFUL flavor. i would give it a 100/10 if I could.
