The fish is exquisite and some of the best sushi I have ever had outside of Japan. Truly a spectacular experience. The wasabi is made fresh from the root.
The sushi bar is located by the hotel lobby, it's to the right after entering in at the main entrance of the Mandrian Hotel Delicious sushi, definitely will return again. Went with the omasake, it was amazing!
Best sushi I've had outside of Tokyo. The fish is super fresh. Even the glassware is superb, Kiriko cur Crystal for your beer, which was really unexpected. You can tell this is run by a real Japanese owner, as the quality shines. Truly, an unexpected gem
At the Mandarin Hotel in DC there is a great little gem called Mini Sushi Bar. The sushi served there is top class: very fresh and excellent quality! Jin was preparing the food this evening and did so with great eye for detail with a nice smile and friendly chat. The price is not for the faint hearted but it is well worth it!
A magical sushi experience. Jin is a culinary genius/artist. The omakase sushi was an unami of fresh and uncommon fish layered with an unexpected infusion of savory herbs and spices that come together as a celebration on your palate. A delightful memory that calls you back and makes inferior any other sushi event.
