Update July 2024: They continue to make the best Italian sandwiches, and the wings are quite tasty too. However, they overlooked my dessert in my latest order, and there have been issues with the dipping sauces for the wings getting mixed up. I'm placing another order this Saturday for dinner, which is always a busy time, especially with the rainy weather, so I understand they might be overwhelmed. I trust they will refund me for the missing dessert, and I'll definitely order again. This isn't the first time this has happened, so if you experience similar issues, I recommend being patient. They are a small business that truly makes fantastic food. If they run out of the Smith Island cake, I would have gladly swapped it for tiramisu, but no one reached out to me about it. Overall, I really enjoy their food and will continue to order, but it would help to know in advance if everything in my order is available and if I can make substitutions if needed. Original: I've been ordering from Old City Market and Oven for a couple of years now. They serve the best Italian cold cut sandwich in DC, and their blue cheese dressing is unique. When they heat up and bake the sandwich, it becomes even better, although they don't always remember to do that. Update June 2024: I've been eating here for a few years now, and everything remains just as amazing. They did change the sriracha they use, which isn't as good, but everything is still cooked to perfection and tastes fantastic!

Such vibe. My son and I love the pizza and wings. Definitely take a peak in the basement for the record collection while you wait.

I read a review on here that said it was the best in DC. I’m gonna have to agree. Wow. What great pizza. Top notch service too. I ordered a large delivery order. 12 pizza and 4 salads. They called to tell me the door dasher was on the way. Impeccable service. I’ll definitely order it again.
