The barista was very attentive and kindly corrected my request for less cream in the Rosé. I definitely recommend getting the regular amount or more cream for the iced coffee Rosé. The shop has both indoor and outdoor seating, and there are standard outlets available inside for getting work done! I returned to try the Mint Mojito made the House Way, and it definitely lived up to my expectations! The Iced Mint Mojito remains my favorite, and I would eagerly come back for another cup any day!
Philz Coffee generally offers good quality drinks, but this particular location falls short in customer service. While I was waiting to place my order, the cashier walked away without acknowledging my presence. I didn't think much of it at first, but after waiting for five minutes while he wandered around, he finally mentioned, "I'll be right with you." As more time passed with no further acknowledgment, I grew frustrated. The shop wasn’t particularly busy; there was only one person ahead of me, and about five employees were available, yet my order couldn't be taken. Ultimately, I decided to leave because waiting ten minutes for coffee in a relatively uncrowded cafe is unacceptable. There are plenty of other coffee shops in DuPont Circle that offer better service, so I will be choosing them from now on.
Outstanding coffee! It's freshly brewed and crafted with great care!
Nice staff and location, but coffee is overpriced and not very good. I prefer some of the other coffee shops in the area.
The coffee was burnt and tasted awful. This is the bare minimum I expect from a coffee shop. I ordered a cream cheese bagel which I had to add the cream cheese myself. Why do we have to tip these people again? Barely passable as a service.
