Steak N Egg Diner - Washington DC

First time there, friendly service, plenty of food to satisfy your appetite, will go back again.

Steak 'n Egg has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. We always used to stop at this cozy diner for a late-night snack. Most recently, I visited to pick up breakfast to go. I was thrilled to find they had croissants available. The first thing that caught my eye when I arrived was that the building looked brand new, and they had added an extension. I was warmly greeted upon entering, and my order was taken promptly. I chose to sit at the bar while I waited for my croissant sandwich and an egg platter with ham. Even though the diner was quite busy, my order was ready in about 5-10 minutes, and there was plenty of seating available now. My husband enjoyed his platter as well. While my croissant sandwich was tasty, it was a bit greasy. Overall, Steak 'n Egg remains a dependable spot for a meal.

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The robot delivery was a fun and unique touch as well. I walked in expecting just a quick snack, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and satisfying the meals were.

Having grown up nearby, it’s been exciting to watch Steak and Egg transform from a small all-night diner into the great restaurant it is today. I highly recommend the pork chops and eggs. Give it a try—you'll definitely want to return!

When me and my family went to steak and eggs for the first time we were amazed by the robot the second time we went we were disappointed the food was bad and we paid 94.87 it was dirty it was very inconvenient we are never ever going back again I don't think you should either.The restrooms wernt clean don't be disappointed don't go to save your money.
