Sugar Lab - Washington DC

It’s a new business in Georgetown that my friend and I decided to give a try. The staff were all very friendly and eager to make us feel welcomed. I had the chocolate peanut butter flavor which was amazing! I ordered it with a waffle which was made fresh in front of me. I questioned whether I wanted ice cream on a warm waffle because it may melt quickly, but the combo was great and they also serve it in a cup/bowl. They also didn’t skimp on the toppings. Tasted great!

We are from out of town. The staff was so nice and allowed us in even after close. The gelato was great and the bubble waffle cones were amazing. They are soft and warm. And go perfectly with the gelato. Just what we wanted.

I absolutely love this place! My friend Mimi recommended it to me, and now I'm completely obsessed with bubble waffles!

Sugar Lab has a great selection of flavors! My favorite was the lychee sorbet! definitely recommend getting it in a bubble waffle, it was so good :

The best frozen treats in DC! The staff is super friendly and let our family of five sample any flavor we wanted before we placed our order. If you’re staying near the National Mall, it’s definitely worth a $10 Uber ride to get here!
