The empanada taste was just ok. They do not sell individual empanadas, but do offer two small empanadas with a side salad in a takeaway container for $15 each... which was kind of funny because people typically do not order salad with an empanada. Two empanada lunch containers cost $30 without beverages. (please don't tell my Spanish family) : oThese were easily the most expensive empanadas I've ever purchased. The employees were kind and the store was clean and nicely
Excellent tuna sandwich large pieces of tuna, tomato, a hardboiled egg, and generous amount of mayonnaise. Gazpacho was great too, just a small amount of zip. There is also a small Spanish grocery inside as well as baked goods.
Yummy high quality restaurant offerings at a convenient and cheerful take out or sit down informal market atmosphere. Today I got the chicken empanadas and tres leches cake for dessert latter portion was HUGE and all were delicious. Previously tried the rice pudding which is my favorite dessert from them. Service is helpful and friendly. Will be back (often: .
The quality has significantly declined, and the prices are quite high. In the past, I could justify dining here due to the authenticity and quality of the ingredients, but the molettes no longer live up to those standards. The sobrasada con miel sandwich tasted off and was overloaded with honey, making it very unpleasant. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.
