The chicken piccata was very bad. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
A super quirky place. I came at 7pm on a Monday. My table was the only party eating for the entire duration of our stay, so it was not busy to be sure. A handful of people sat at the bar, seemingly regulars making conversation with the staff. This restaurant seems to be part of the local Latino community (as with many in this neighborhood), as all the clientele and staff spoke Spanish. The service was lacking, but that was ameliorated somewhat given that we were the only customers that needed to be served. I had to put our menus back in the stack once we ordered, and I had to find napkins for our table. The wait staff seemed unprepared to refill our water glasses, and asked us whether bottled water would be alright (thankfully pre-chilled). The food came out relatively quickly, although I was given the wrong order at first. The correct order came out within five minutes thereafter. The food was tasty. It was nothing amazing, but I would eat it again. The quirkiness shines through in the decor. Exposed-brick patter wallpaper was interrupted with a scene from a tropical island beach. A pleasant sight, but not one I'd put in the archetypical Italian restaurant. Spanish pop music played, often loud, sometimes much quieter.
Great eatery for Italian cuisine. Open late even at midnight. Delicious.
In desperate need of late night pizza and this place hit the spot. Had to wait a little bit so best to call ahead if you just want to pickup. But wasn’t upset after my first bite. Thanks for the service!
