Great ambiance! Great vibe. Thank you for being family friendly! The hotel lobby was also a great experience
This is not your all American hotel restaurant but a multi star venue with absolutely amazing food, a great staff, indoor outdoor seating, three bars! Great wine and cocktail selections.
Pretty disappointing place. This was my first time and the website looked appealing but fell far short. We (2) arrived around 6:15 and plenty of tables, very friendly host staff. Our server was also very friendly and attentive to start. But the table was wobbly and his fix was to push us closer to the wall haha, it didn't work but we used the excessive table cloth length to prop it a bit. Drinks were ok but on the bill my drink was 3x the price. I would have asked to fix it but it took, no joke, 30 mins to get our bill which made us late for a following show. Bummer for a date night. The food was bland at best, the fries were the best thing we had. I had the burger, it was over cooked (asked medium well) and the bun was stale and hard. It was a pumpernickel type bread and I'm just not sure why, the bun was black, just not appealing. My wife had the steak frites and the steak was bland and the maybe on an 8 inch plate. So for $48 to get that portion, kind of a joke. In short, the kitchen flopped on the food and management failed their servers, I never even saw a manager checking on customers. Oh, and mandatory 20% tip, but for what, waiting for the bill? I have 10 years in the industry and typically tip out 30% but I just couldn't this time. Save yourself the 2 drink, 2 meal $174 bill and walk to any number of better restaurants just steps away.
Overall, the food was very good and the venue was nice and modern but the service was a bit slow and the prices were on the higher end with cocktails costing $20 each along with an automatic 20% gratuity applied. There was an empty hostess stand when we 1st arrived but after asking the bar they advised us that the hostess was on the other end of the restaurant (the hotel side). Our server was pleasant and made good recommendations, but there was a long lag between our courses, and he did not come back to our table for quite awhile after we received our entrees. We had the Hamachi Crudo and Scallops to start, and both were delicious. The scallops were buttery and the Hamachi crudo was light and flavorful. For entrees, we had the Cacio e Pepe with shrimp added and the Steak and Frites. The Steak and Frites had very nice flavor and I was satisfied with the Cacio e Pepe as well. The Wake and Bake cocktail was very comforting and a perfect fall drink if you like apples and the smokiness of mezcal. We ended with the Na'Nu and Make a Wish. They were okay desserts, but I was not really impressed with either one. I am glad we tried them out, but I'm not sure if I'll revisit given the prices and lack of attentive service. We might consider giving them another shot in the future because the food was very good for the most part. It's frustrating that the gratuity is already added because I didn't feel like the service was worth 20% but I guess they don't have to try as hard when they know they are getting 20% automatically.
