The avocado toast paired with a green smoothie and almond latte is a fantastic choice for brunch. The only thing missing is a drizzle of honey.
I wish this restaurant was fully vegan because the food is fresh and absolutely delicious. However, the vegan options are not clearly marked on the menu. For example, the avocado salad may seem vegan but it actually comes with buttered bread that is not listed. If they were more straightforward by labeling their vegan options or providing instructions on how to veganize dishes (such as removing honey from a smoothie), this place would be one of the top choices for vegans in the area.
Although Happy Cow's description mentioned that there were vegan options available, I visited the restaurant and found that there were none. I spoke with a staff member who indicated that the avocado toast could be made vegan, however, it contained a small amount of butter in the bread. The staff member also mistakenly believed that eggs were vegan. The restaurant does offer smoothies, but I did not inquire about their vegan status.
The vibe is community centered and welcoming. coffee and tee are all beautiful, and they have quite any vegetable milk they want. Among the favourite dishes are the raw meal, hummus sandwich and beet salad (see feta). also the chai latte with mandelmilch is beautiful.
