Server was badly prepared. had to come back twice to confirm the order and get the order wrong and he would disappear between taking beverage orders, apps and entree and take our payment.

Do not recommend outdoor seating for brunch servers were not attentive to outdoor tables.

Our server, Caroline, was fantastic, and the food was delicious! (We knew it would be—we come often for dinner. However, we were disappointed on two fronts: first, we weren’t seated until nearly an hour after our reservation time; second, nowhere when making the reservation was it made clear that Sunday is only a brunch buffet. We found out from staff that this confusion happens a lot. Please encourage the restaurant to make it clear that guests showing up on Sunday will not be able to order from the regular menu until 2:00 PM, and will be forced to do the buffet. The silver lining on waiting an hour after our reservation for our table is that we were close enough to 2:00 PM to be able to order off of the regular menu, which Caroline was so graciously able to help us navigate doing. But again, I would strongly encourage the restaurant to make it clear on the reservation app that brunch is buffet only until 2 PM so that diners can make an informed choice.

We’ve been here before and it was fantastic. Our server this time was lovely and friendly, but they were clearly understaffed. It took 30 minutes to even get water on the table. It was 8:45pm when we got any food, our reservation was at 7:30. We had to ask for silverware and napkins, which he had to “go find.” It took ages to get a check and close out. We felt awful for our server who was trying his best, but overall it was a poor experience this time. I really hope it was an off night for them. We had really enjoyed it in the past.

I have to admit the service was better the last time we were dining at Farmers and Distillers than today. However, Andrew (the manager) gave us an opportunity to enjoy it. Thank you for the rescue! We appreciate it and will be back.
