Food was great, waiter was helpful and attentive. Great place to eat

My friend's Cesar salad was brought to the table with a huge bug! They replaced it, but under the circumstances it should have been complimentary. The steak/eggs were over cooked and the server could have been a bit more attentive. It was my friend's 50th birthday celebration, (which was noted on the reservation), so we would have appreciated a bit of special attention.

Kind service didn't make up for my meal (scallops) which I found to be too oily and heavy. Pre-dinner salad and bread with olive spread were good, however.

Went to Paolo's on a nice night before Easter mass. It wasn't crazy busy, but service was still pretty slow. The food was okay not as good as I remembered it being, and a bit messily plated. Overall seemed a bit overpriced for what it was (then again, it's Georgetown, so I guess that's to be expected). The crispy eggplant appetizer is amazing! The chicken pesto pizza is very forgettable.
