We started with the bitterballen- which were very savory with a unique meaty filling- delicious. We also had the pickled vegetable plate and a mixed green salad, both were very good, though the pickled vegetable plate was pretty sparse. For the main course, we had the Belgian Mussels and the Mariniere Mussels. The mussels
I liked the atmosphere and vibe. Really cozy place to go on a date. The food is fine in general. The chocolate mouse desert and Belgium meat ball is amazing. The short rib is good however in our case the fat part of the meat was almost quarter of the meat which is a lot! Usually the fat for the meat is to make it juicier and more delicious but you don?t want to pay for a meat that you cannot eat 25% of it. Overall was an ok restaurant to try once.
Tucked into an alleyway. The beer selection was exquisite, tasted delicious, and the server was very friendly. Great Belgian beer selection. They clearly put a lot of effort into creating their list and it?s highly appreciated. The decor was very creative as well
Back the alley to quite the beer and food gem. With soooo many unique drafts and bottles any craft beer lover needs to stop here. Louis was super knowledgeable about the beer and it was great to learn more. The food was great (looks like a precious Michelin star? had the mussels with fries. They have an upstairs area and downstairs so depending the mood that you are looking for, this place can assist. Highly recommend.
This restaurant has a really cool speakeasy vibe! The drink menu was also very impressive. It's been a really long time since I've been to a restaurant and seen beers that look really creative and new. This place serves a step above just craft brewing. The appetizers were also quite good!
