The staff works quickly and efficiently, primarily consisting of high school and college students who are very dedicated. I have visited during both slow and busy times, and regardless of the crowd, they handle everything with efficiency and always maintain a friendly attitude. I highly recommend this Dairy Queen location.
Getting worse and worse. Tonight one of the young ladies cared more about cursing up a storm talking about her drama than taking care of the customers or getting an order rightwhich she didn’t. Please fix this place if you want to stay in business. Some supervision maybe??
Kathleen Walz, it's not about the tough times we're enduring. If you can't afford an $8.32 ice cream, there's a Fresh Grocer nearby where you can get a small tub for a few dollars. If you don't appreciate the kids working at the store, why not consider applying for a job there? Extra income could help, especially if you think the ice cream is so pricey.
I waited about 8 minutes for an $8.32 peanut buster parfait, only to be told they couldn't provide hot fudge. Instead, they offered me cold fudge, which I thought might work if it was similar to chocolate syrup. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The parfait was poorly made with hardly any peanuts, and the cold fudge was in large chunks that didn't mix well. When I inquired about the lack of hot fudge, I was told it was an ordering issue. They mentioned that they usually keep it in containers to stay warm, but that doesn't help me now. I find it unacceptable to pay over $8 for such a subpar dessert, especially in today's economy. I even reached out to the owner to express my concerns but didn’t receive any response. The shop wasn't even busy, so there was no excuse for the poor service and missing items. I feel bad for anyone who walks in for the next few hours only to find they still don’t have hot fudge, which is a standard offering at any ice cream shop. I hope this feedback reaches someone who can make a change.
Zero stars. I used to love Dairy Queen, but now they are misleading their customers with fake coupons! They send out these coupons only to have you arrive at the store, excited, only to find out that they don’t even accept them at that location. To make matters worse, there isn't another Dairy Queen within 15 miles of Washington Township/Turnersville! So what do they expect—people in Gloucester County to drive that far without knowing if the next location will even honor the coupons? Today was the last straw for me. I received a coupon, only for them to refuse to honor it. My husband and I left disappointed and went to Chick-fil-A just down the street instead, where we enjoyed their strawberry shakes instead. The prices were pretty similar, but at least Chick-fil-A didn’t set my expectations up for failure! It’s such a shame, especially since I recently moved very close to this Dairy Queen. I won’t be coming back. If I had made a long drive just for shakes or dessert, only to be let down by a fake coupon, I would have been furious. Now I understand why this location is always empty every time I pass by. Thanks for nothing!
