Great funky place to get a good espresso. Not only can you get an iced coffee in the high desert, you can buy a vintage handkerchief because you forgot to pack one. Sanity saver in the heat:

I found myself with some time to spare in beautiful Washtucna due to car troubles. I stopped at this restaurant as soon as it opened and ordered a breakfast burrito. I was hoping for a homemade-style burrito, but it turned out to be your typical quick, microwavable kind, complete with some hot sauce packets. Later in the day, I had a hot dog that was similar in style. While it wasn't bad, I didn’t expect that kind of food based on the restaurant's appearance. On the bright side, the place was clean, warm, and friendly, and the bathroom was impressive. Overall, it’s worth a quick stop if you need to stretch your legs on the way to Idaho.
