Smashburger - Wasilla

Restaurant was dirty. Floors were slick tables weren't clean. It was 7:30pm and the place had 6 guests and 3 employees on the floor. The young lady behind the register seemed rushed as she went through her spiel at break neck speed. When I asked her about toppings on a specific burger she pointed at the menu (side note that was the burger the messed up). Food was ok, but not worth the price or hype. Fries weren't salted and smash tots came with EXTRA oil. This was our first and last visit with this franchise.

Holy cow, 1st time here, best burger I have had in a long time.

We got the bacon smash burger and the Carolina burnt ends burger along with an order of smash fries and it was all amazing. Great quality and taste. Would recommend to anyone not afraid to eat meat.

We came here because the one in Anchorage was so amazing about being clean and careful about the gluten free options. Was in Wasilla for the day and needed a GF meal for my daughter who’s allergic. The lady who took our order was new maybe and she kindly asked the girl packing orders if the fries and tator tots are gf. The girl shrugged her shoulders rolled her eyes and just said “I don’t know. Probably”. I said it’s for a food allergy. It’s life or death. Can you ask and make sure? The kitchen was right there in front of her! She didn’t seem to care much at all. I wanted to leave. Especially since the dining room looked unsanitary due to lack of employees. I was kind to the cashier and I was absolutely not trying to be difficult at all. Celiacs disease is a very serious thing and it’s so hard to find good places. The gf buns were cold on the burger which made the burger cold. Our salad was filled with goopy slimy lettuce. My mom asked for a new salad and the manager said that the salad is supposed to be that way … smh. He replaced it w a fresh one. Sat down at a dirty table and ate our food and left. Had no other gf options so we dealt w it. So disappointed and I’ll definitely not be risking it again. The manager and cashier seemed nice enough and the food would have been amazing without the ick factors involved. Not even close to comparable to the Anchorage location.
